We’ve been chatting about the talents that are Clement Marfo and The Frontline for a while, and now music fans in the droves are agreeing with our admiration for the 7 piece phenomenon. Crowned T4 Rising Stars and Brand New for 2012 by MTV, this year is set to be theirs – their standout track ‘Champion’ likely to become a soundtrack to the Olympics and broadcasted around the world. They’ve been repping our threads in their innately cool way for a number of years now so we are hugely proud to see them doing so well and flying the flag for UK music with such impressive force. Sophie headed to Islington Academy to catch up with Clement and Kojo to find out how they are all coping with their success and the new opportunities it gifts them.. We also managed to get some exclusive information which sadly didn’t make the final edit.. but let’s just say there is some very exciting tour news coming your way! We’ve been lifting the spirit of rock n rollers, punk-poppers and metal-heads and their fans for the last four and half years. But now thanks to the high wear-ability factor of the last few collections the fashion hounds have also fallen for our brands optimistic allure.

While subtly tapping into trends and making light comment on current culture/social events, we’ve managed to create unisex wears that make a statement without being brash. With the new campaign look-book we showcase our love of our majestic capital city, which works accordingly and in contrast to the styling of the new streetwise new mini collection. We see an effortlessly cool girl and boy trawl the streets and shops of London, both reveling in the appropriate dose of rebellion and punk abandon.

So we keep waiting with fearful anticipation for the Armageddon, making foolish promises to live life to the extreme and tick off all those bucket list activities and dreams. But how about we just all get together and celebrate our impending doom in one party filled swoop. Now if you were challenged to think who you’d like to celebrate your diminished life with we’d like to think we’d come to mind, so lets make this happen shall we!!

So we’ve decided to to head to the centre of the UK for this party or all parties to celebrate the end of the world is reliable Cheer Up fashion. While getting down with your bad selves to the musical offerings alongside the Cheer Up team and our lovely models, you’ll also get the chance to request your favourite song from the familiar band faces at the DJ booth. Due to the potential for raucous debauchery and sexy fire action courtesy of the Fuel Ladies, this particular event is for those of the adult variety, but please do come and party with complete youthful abandon. As our future is limited you may as well stop saving and splurge at The Cheer Up Pop Up shop too….

I know some of you may well be trying to resist the allure of this particular ‘reality’ show, or keeping your obsession on the down low, but let’s be honest with each other ‘ The Only Way is Essex is one of the most enjoyable guilty pleasures going.

Although sexiness is of course a subjective thing I am betting that a large chunk of you find something pretty ‘ooff’ about one of its stars, the tattooed hear-throb that is Mario Falcone. We were pretty chuffed when we saw a picture which captured his toned body as the latest clothes horse to a Cheer Up Clothing tee. Boy did he wear it well! But what made the image even slicker was the fact the financially gifted chap was about to purchase a rather delicious Audi R8. Alright for some! He has since proven his love for Cheer Up by sporting another number in his Twitter profile too.

We think our garms look pretty swish anyway, but when they are shot by someone with a natural creative eye like photographer Perou they immediately look infinitely cooler. He had gifted us with some sharp snaps before, and yet again the main man has delivered a visual Cheer Up treat. Wouldn’t it be nice if we had the honour of making the most of his ample talent for a future shoot….(ponders)

You Me At Six’s ‘Sinners Never Sleep’ tour diaries!

On March 14th our favourite boys You Me at Six kicked off their UK tour in Belfast. Joined by Kids in Glass Houses, The Skints and Mayday Parade the boys knew that there would be a lot of footage worthy activity going on during this run of dates – particularly with the birthday festivities and ensuing drink fueled chaos going on. Quite wisely they have once again made sure that all special (and cringey) moments have been captured for your viewing pleasure. Tonight they will once again be gracing the might Brixton Academy stage which is sure to deliver some pretty epic cinematic action….

We felt very proud as the fine specimen of man that is Mario Falcone was pictured wearing our very own Shapeshifter T-Shirt as he expressed his indulgent side in this season’s finale of TOWIE. Below are a few cheeky screen grabs of the opening scene to the episode .. we think it’s pretty cool and as fans of the show we’d like to send some respect.
