For those of you that don’t know, Bradley Simpson fronts a band called The Vamps, they’re an Acoustic- Driven Indie Pop Band from the UK. They have just played a string of Arena dates with our chums in McFly and have already had over 13 million hits on Youtube. Not bad for a group with an average age of 17 – yikes!!

Here’s a photo of him wearing our new college baseball jersey on stage at Wembley!

We wish these boys all of the success for the future, it’s looking bright!

BEHIND THE SCENES – SS13 BON VOYAGE – MAKE UP BY GEORGINA CONWAY

Want to know how we did the makeup for Spring Summer 2013?? Georgina provides a step by step tutorial as to how we achieved the look.

For this spring/summer makeup look think golden goddess with an edgy pop of colour. Dewy, fresh summer skin, bright lips & bronzed eyes, yet totally wearable. Highlighting and contouring the cheekbones gave the makeup look structure & elegance while the bright colours bursting from the cheeks and lips inject some summer fun into the mix. Strong, bold & playful!!

Step 1: Apply Smashbox Luminizing Photo Finish primer all over face.

Step 2: Apply Smashbox Studio Skin foundation mixed with some Embryolisse moisturiser to give a dewy- natural base.

Step 3: Conceal under eyes & imperfections using Bobbi Brown creamy concealer.

Step 4: Highlight & contour cheeks using Nars Laguna bronzer & Bobbi Brown shimmer brick in Beige.

Step 5: Fill & set eyebrows using Smashbox brow tech to go.

Step 6: Apply golden eyeshadow shades to lids, going darker in the crease using Urban decay naked palette.

Step 7: Line the lids with bobbi brown gel liner

Step 8: Apply two coats of smashbox full exposure mascara

Step 9: Apply a pop of colour to cheeks and complimenting colour to the lips. Pinks, Corals & Oranges.

Step 10: powder through the T-zone using Smashbox Photo Set Powder.

Voila!

For those of you that didn’t know, Matt has been away touring the States with his chums in ‘All Time Low’ and ‘Pierce the veil’. He’s been putting his ‘Safari Club‘ explorers backpack to good use as demonstrated in the image below!

BON VOYAGE! AN INTRODUCTION TO SS13!

It feels like an age ago that we started plotting what would become our most extensive range to date. We know we have been a little cheeky, teasing you with little morsels and clues over the last few weeks, but we can finally pass on the collection to you guys. In a sense we now have to say Bon Voyage to the range and hope it travels well with our Cheer Up friends.

For our designs we collated images of summer, symbols that remind us of holidays – drawing inspiration from the sights you see on travels around the world. One of the collections signature prints is the ‘Safari Club’ featured on various tees and allover our 5 panel hats. The other notable pattern is the eye catching leaf print, confidently decorating the summer dress and mens swim shorts.

When brainstorming the collection we wanted to ensure we maintained an element of monochrome, we know how it is important to have those ultra wearable pieces that go with everything. As it’s summer we of course wanted to inject some colour, but not in an overpowering or brash way. Through neon fabric freckles, colour popping beanies and fine illustrations courtesy of the brilliant Arran Gregory we have added some zest to the line.

Falling under the smart-wear category we have a trio of checked flannel shirts that will offer you some warmth as the chill of the night sets in over the summer months. Great investment pieces that have got you covered all year round. Another trio comes in the form of our ultra cute acrylic jewellery pieces that compliment the theme of the range perfectly. The showstoppers are undoubtedly our Bomber Jackets, the impressive back emblems separating them from the generic varsity styles found elsewhere.

The range was shot by our friend, the renowned photographer Perou, who achieved the slickness we thought would befit the range. We always endeavor to step up the range each season, and we hope you greet the Bon Voyage collection with a hearty Ole!

We felt so very proud watching our friends performing on Jools Holland this week – so great to see them getting the attention they deserve. P.S digging the silver shorts Aluna!

Their summer calender is jam packed with dates across the UK, USA, Australia and Europe, and we are personally trying to find an excuse to travel to Benicassim to enjoy them whilst basking in the Spanish sun.
